Chanitas started in Fort Bragg, California with a simple phone call asking for a ceviche recipe. That moment sparked what would become a growing food business.

Two Costa Rican cousins began cooking in a small studio apartment kitchen, sharing traditional flavors from home with their local community. As word spread, so did the demand.

With encouragement from a friend, we took the next step and launched a pop-up kitchen at Tall Guy Brewing. After sharing our ceviche and patacones with the owner, a partnership was born.

Today, Chanitas continues to bring authentic Costa Rican cuisine to both locals and visitors, staying true to our roots while growing one plate at a time.
